Have you looked at your feet lately? Where have they been? What have they been doing? What do they look like? How do they feel?
If your feet are anything like mine, they might answer: “We’ve been taking you everywhere and holding your weight. We are tired, dry, callused, and cracked! We need love …”
Let’s face it: we all have dry feet to some degree. Whether you live where it’s cold, or warm, dry or humid, your feet are going to get weathered. Why? Dehydration, diet, type of shoes that we wear, how much walking we do, how much we are on our feet and of course general hygiene practices. Aging, some medical conditions and physical stress can also have an effect on our feet.
Dry feet, if left unloved, can lead to cracked heels, calluses and corns all of which can be very painful and make your feet miserable. And if your feet are miserable, so are you. It’s that simple!
So you go on the hunt for a product that can help. There’s no shortage of creams, balms and lotions, peels and masks, bath salts, foot soaks and scrubs, and of course home remedies. These treatments can be time consuming, expensive, ineffective, painful and in some cases, depending on the ingredients, even harmful to our health . But you don’t care! All you want is for your feet to be soft and smooth again. The problem is that nothing quite works…
Introducing Smooth Feet: a century-old recipe given to my grandmother by an apothecary woman when she was a little girl. Smooth Feet is made with simple, pure, plant-based certified organic ingredients. The formula has been tested on my family (not animals) for over four generations.
Smooth Feet hydrates your feet by penetrating truly natural and organic ingredients into your feet and grabbing and locking moisture into the skin. You won’t need to use anything else, but you may see faster results if you incorporate a foot soak and/or pumice to help exfoliate and prepare the skin for the treatment.
For best results follow the below steps:
- Soak your feet in warm water for about 15 minutes. You can add sea salt to your water to improve circulation, relieve stress and inflammation, and support detoxification.
- If your feet are really dry, scrub your feet using a pumice rock after the soak to help remove dead skin.
- Rinse and dry your feet thoroughly.
- Massage a full dropper of Smooth Feet onto each foot.
- Enjoy a restful and rejuvenating night’s sleep.
You’ll wake up to softer and more hydrated feet. Once you reach your desired smoothness (generally within 7-10 days), you’ll only need to apply Smooth as needed. Your feet will tell you when they’re thirsty. Listen and give them the attention they need to prevent a return to dehydrated, rough and cracked skin.
Investing just a couple of minutes every few days, will guarantee you baby smooth feet year-round. After all, our feet are all we have to stand on and they deserve some love and care. Be KIND to your feet and they’ll be KIND to you.
